I am very particular when it comes to skin care and I love collecting products and trying different ones to see what'll work me. Some time ago, an Aunt of mine gave my Mama a Body Shop Jolly Orange Body Buttter. Well, I am not fond of Body Butters as I prefer lotion for I think Body Butter is too thick and too creamy. When you live in a tropical country like the Philippines and you sweat a lot (just like I do), I think that you'll really try to avoid it.
So there my Aunt let my Mama used the Body Butter and well being the curious lady that I am, I tried it too.
The Body Shop Jolly Orange Body Butter
So here's what written: The Body Shop Jolly Orange Body Butter. Aromatic moisturiser with orange seed oil.
Packaging: Well, the color is a nice pop of bright orange and yellow and comes in a plastic container. Tightly closed so the product won't come out.
Scent: Honestly I din't smell orange in the product. For me, it smells more of like potpourri and flowers. I am not a fan of "flowery" scents because I feel like it'll induce sneezing. Hahaha! I think i'd love this more if I can smell the "citrus-y" orange since I'm more of a fan of citrus smelling products.
Product: Comes off real smooth and tends to linger on skin. Tinted with a yellow color. It's good because it's really moisturizing and you'll feel immediately the soft and velvety feeling that it leaves on your skin. What I don't like about it though is that I don't feel like it is absorbed. I think that it just stays on top of my skin and since I sweat heavily, I tend to feel sticky afterwards :(

The other Body Butter was given to me by my Grandma. Actually it was from a package in the US. My Grandma saved the "Coconut" one for me and let my Aunts pick what scent they want. Oh well, they're older. Hahaha!
Delon Body Butter Coconut (Mine is in a different design, unfortunately I cant find it in the images.)
What's written: Front: Intense Moisturizing. Indulge your senses while softening your skin.
Back: Quick-absorbing and non-greasy. Long-lasting moisture. Leaves skin silky soft and protected. Non tested on animals.
Packaging: The color is a brown with a Coconut picture on the front. It also has design on the sides.
Scent: True to its word, it really smells like Coconut! Coconut oil that is! I didn't like the smell at first because it smells like pomade/hair gel that old people use here in our country. Haha! How silly of me. But then I liked it as time went by because it reminded me of summer and the sun and the beach! Tropical heaven! It smells sweet and yummy enough to eat! (Of course, it's not edible though.)
Product: The product comes in a thick consistency and won't fall even if you tilt it upside-down. Yep, i tried it. It comes off smooth and is really easy to apply. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and yes, it is non-greasy! It is quickly absorbed, in less than a minute or so. It doesn't leave you feeling sticky even if you sweat alot. And the good thing is, the softness stays and also the yummy smell! I wear it everytime and my boyfriend thinks it smells like Icecream.
So there. I hope this review helps! Have a good day and God Bless!
